POSTECH AMI Lab (P-AMI Lab.) is looking for self-motivated prospective graduate students. If you are interested in joining AMI Lab, please read the following CAREFULLY.

We annually hire 2~4 students depending on openings. Since our lab admission process is very competitive, please be prepared as much as you can.

Phase 1: Official Screening

To get an admission of AMI Lab, you can apply to either Dept. of Electrical Engineering (EE) or Graduate School of Artificial Intelligence (GSAI). We are hiring from both.

Please apply directly to the school (either Dept. of EE or Grad. school of AI), and get admission first. (Refer to https://adm-g.postech.ac.kr for detailed admission information).

If you have passed the official document screening, we will schedule for the following individual interview.
β€’
Since the application schedule of GSAI is different from EE, contact us as soon as possible after passing the official screening (written exam) in GSAI.

Phase 2: Interview (Time: to be announced individually)

Portfolio Presentation (10-15min.)

Each applicant will give a presentation about the projects they had done, their research interests, including self-introduction.

Technical Interview (15-20 min.)
β—¦
A list of papers will be sent to the candidate at this stage.
β—¦
Given a list of papers, each applicant will choose and study one or two papers before the interview.
β—¦
During interview, each applicant will be asked several technical questions about the paper.
Prof. Kwangin Kim has recently joined POSTECH's Electrical Engineering Department and Graduate School of Artificial Intelligence. We encourage students who are interested in applying to the AMI Lab to also consider applying to Prof. Kwangin Kim's group.
